How big will the "teacup" dogs be when they are full grown?   (back to top)

Our "teacup" size dogs will be approximately 3 to 6 pounds when they are fully grown.

Please note: "Teacup" is just a cute term that can be used to describe our dogs, it is not part of the AKC standard for Maltese or Yorkshire Terrier dogs.  Generally speaking, all dogs in the Toy group are small.  (According to the AKC standard for Maltese and Yorkshire Terriers, they are usually under 7 lbs.)  Our dogs cannot be registered as "teacup" size.

Can dogs be 'shipped'?   (back to top)

Yes, you can 'ship' a dog.  You have to have certain vaccinations, which is usually dependant upon the age of the dog, and the dogs destination.  They would have to be shipped via an airline.  American Airlines has a great shipping calculator.  All shipping arrangements must be made, and paid for, by the purchaser/prospective owner.

We prefer to meet the prospective owner in person.  However, we will make an exception and ship to people that are referred to us by someone we know.

Are the dogs house broken?   (back to top)

Yes, the dogs live in my home, so they have been paper trained.  Please note that we cannot guarantee that they won't have accidents due to nervousness or just being excited in your home.  Even champion dogs have accidents.  :)
